Leadership Quotes

Often the difference between a successful person and a failure is not one has better abilities or ideas, but the courage that one has to bet on one's ideas, to take a calculated risk- and to act.
Andre Malraux

"Keep true, never be ashamed of doing right, decide on what you think is right and stick to it."

The frist responsibility of a leader is to define reality; the last is to say thank you. In between the two, the leader must become a servant and a debtor... a friend of mind characterized leaders simply like this: 'Leaders don't inflict pain; they bear pain.'
Max De Pree

You know how you sometimes make a decision out of fear? More specifically, how you sometimes make a decision due to fear of the unknown? Not knowing the outcome of a situation binds you powerfully. Failure always seems more plausible than success. Success is never guaranteed. Success is never guaranteed. Success is never guaranteed. The only commonality among the successful is that they love what they do. They act with passion. For big things to happen risks cannot be avoided. Faith must guide you blindly. Microsoft was not a guaranteed success, neither was Nike, neither was Costco. Nothing is guaranteed. Sometimes you need to jump into an idea blindly, out of sheer faith. Don't worry, if you fail you'll just be back to where you were before you attempted.
